Verlin Yoder

VP of Technology

You might say that Verlin was born into the construction industry. When he wasn’t helping on the farm he stayed busy in construction, building his first shed after school hours when he was only 9 years old. Along with his five brothers and three sisters his family moved a lot, between several states and Costa Rica. At 21 he decided to leave his family and head to where he heard everything was bigger – Texas. His passion for quality and excellence led him to join Ulrich in 2009.

Verlin’s critical thinking and left brain personality helped him rise through the ranks to his current position as Vice President of Finance. When he is not watching the bottom line Verlin spends his time enjoying the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to cycling, and most recently completing the Cowtown Marathon.

It seems as if it was almost destiny that has led Shannon to join the Ulrich Barn Builders family, uniting vision, talents, efforts and ultimately dreams for the Sturdi-Shed Division.

“I have always thought the true joy is in the journey and that our calling here on earth is to help thy neighbor. How blessed could a life be if your devotion was to assist others and provide a little joy in their journey? With the growth of Sturdi-Shed we’ll be able to do that and do it on a grand scale – helping all our neighbors. In a moment of meeting, I knew that was the core focus of Ulrich and I wanted to be a part of this team!” Shannon, with his wife Jacqueline, enjoy their life in McKinney, Texas raising their two young sons, where everything of importance to them is a distant second to their children and their relationship with Christ.
