Verlin YoderVP of Technology
You might say that Verlin was born into the construction industry. When he wasn’t helping on the farm he stayed busy in construction, building his first shed after school hours when he was only 9 years old. Along with his five brothers and three sisters his family moved a lot, between several states and Costa Rica. At 21 he decided to leave his family and head to where he heard everything was bigger – Texas. His passion for quality and excellence led him to join Ulrich in 2009. Verlin’s critical thinking and left brain personality helped him rise through the ranks to his current position as Vice President of Technology. When he is not watching the bottom line Verlin spends his time enjoying the outdoors, from hunting and fishing to cycling, and most recently completing the Cowtown Marathon.
Uriah FreemanDealer Sales Manager
Born in Coal Country Zanesville, Ohio, Uriah was child number 12 of 16 children. Throughout his childhood and teenage years, he helped his father run numerous small businesses at once. Oftentimes, Uriah was presented with urgent and unique challenges which sharpened his common sense giving him the business acumen he now provides today. At 9 years old, Uriah would work with his Dad securing electrical conduit and by 16 he was full-time in the electrical business. By 17 he was a Jobsite Superintendent with three employees and was responsible to get jobs completed correctly and on time. At age 18 he purchased the small $300,000 Freeman Electric Company and continued in the electrical trade all while employing his brother Orville, his sisters Hannah & Sarah and two of his brother-in-law‘s, his Father-in-law and several other employees (with the Lord’s Blessing). Uriah diligently grew the business and evolved it into a $10 Million turn-key solution that created commercial structures from Coast-To-Coast. Currently Uriah is a licensed contractor as well as a licensed electrician. Uriah and his wife Jennifer have six beautiful healthy children. Top priorities for Uriah are to raise his family for Jesus Christ, become financially independent, and help people. In 2019, Uriah joined the SturdiShed Team. With many factors in mind, such as the premium quality of SturdiShed, the aligned Christian core values of SturdiShed, and SturdiShed operating above the law and in compliance, were main reasons Uriah accepted his leadership position. Uriah’s hobbies are grilling food and traveling internationally. His personal mantra: anything worth doing is worth doing right, do for others the way you would have it done for yourself, take challenges head on and to literally not lay down or stop until the job is done.
